Computer Science Teacher Training Apprenticeship

Aspire People is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Computer Science graduate to join our team as a Graduate Teacher Trainee apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to gain their QTS and make a meaningful impact in the education sector.

About the Role:
  1. As a Graduate Teacher Trainee, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students, with a focus on Computer Science.
  2. You will work closely with experienced teachers and mentors to develop your skills and knowledge.
  3. Excellent pay rates with a salary of up to £26,000-£28,000, working school hours.
  4. Work 5 days per week, term time only.
  5. Excellent and supportive mentoring and training.
Requirements:
  1. A 2:1 or above degree in Computer Science.
  2. A passion for education and providing students with the best education.
  3. Previous tutoring or teaching experience desirable.
  4. GCSE's C/4 or above in English and Maths (and a copy of the actual certificates).
  5. The ability to teach a minimum of 12 hours or a 50% timetable, sole teaching from the beginning of the programme.

All sixth form students in this school received an offer from a university, with 80% of those being a top 3rd university. This mixed all-through school is rated Ofsted "Good" with an above average number of pupils.
