Job Opportunity: Aspiring Secondary Teacher Program

Outstanding Secondary School Seeks Aspiring Teachers

A reputable Secondary School in the Borough of Hackney is seeking aspiring Secondary Teachers to work as Teaching Assistants for a September 2024 start. The school is renowned for producing exceptional teachers and offers a supportive environment for growth and development.

With a strong track record of placing graduates in the school, we have received excellent feedback from previous candidates, with many going on to become qualified teachers.

You will be working across your desired subject specialism, providing 1:1 and group interventions to raise attainment. The Head Teacher is keen to find talented graduates for the following subjects:

  • English Teaching Assistant
  • Maths Teaching Assistant
  • Science Teaching Assistant
  • Learning Support Assistants (Perfect for Psychology Grads)
  • SEN Teaching Assistants - Support a variety of special needs

You will have the opportunity to enroll onto a Salaried Schools Direct program via the Secondary School starting September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aspiring Secondary Teacher
  • Teaching Assistant (Subject dependent)
  • Working across KS3, 4, and 5 with a focus on raising attainment
  • Providing GCSE and A Level interventions
  • Enrolling onto the Aspiring Secondary Teacher Program (Schools Direct)
  • September 2024 Start - Full Time & Long Term
  • £105 - £110 per day
  • Located in the Borough of Hackney

Requirements:

  • Desirable degree from a reputable University
  • Good A Levels and GCSEs across the board
  • Confidence in your ability and knowledge of the GCSE and A Level curriculum
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Commitment and ambition to succeed
