Business Development Executive (SaaS)

Workstreet is seeking an ambitious Sales Professional to join our team as a Business Development Executive (SaaS). This role is ideal for individuals with experience in selling Software (SaaS) or related services to the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively prospect to drive pipeline growth and build relationships with key and new accounts at Executive level.
  • Focus on new business in new named accounts (approx. 80%) and manage new business within existing customers (approx. 20%). The primary sector for this role is information management solutions and services to the contractor market.
  • Raise your professional profile through social media and digital platforms, and attend industry trade shows to maximize networking opportunities.
  • Contribute to Workstreet's presence as an industry expert by creating and producing industry and solution-led blogs or write-ups that drive campaigns leading to new client acquisition.
  • Become a trusted advisor within customer and prospect accounts to understand their business processes and propose appropriate enterprise solutions that provide a definite ROI and deliver positive business outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate forecast, customer, and prospect information on our CRM system.
  • Coordinate with other departments to prepare complex proposals and articulate those proposals to senior stakeholders within customer organizations through professional compiled presentations.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Strong B2B sales background from a related field or IT, software, or tech.
  • Confident and persuasive with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Able to demonstrate a strong background in solution-based sales or enterprise software sales.
  • Successful track record in developing new business and opening new accounts.
  • Sales-oriented and energized by a targeted environment.
  • Confident and able to build strategic relationships at an Executive and Senior management level while engaging tactically within departmental groups.
  • Required skills to understand business processes and articulate the business and financial value new solutions can bring to a company.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High organizational skills, extremely disciplined with time-management, and a strong work ethic.
  • First-rate interpersonal skills and an approachable nature.
  • Determination to succeed and reach goals (set by the manager and by themselves).
  • Strong, driven mentality - a self-starter.
