Tech Connect Group is looking for a dedicated Facilities Operations Specialist to enhance our dynamic team.
This position requires close collaboration with the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) & Facilities Manager, as well as the broader Facilities team, to support essential business functions, streamline operations, and maintain an optimal working environment for all staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilities Oversight: Engage in both hands-on (80%) and administrative (20%) tasks as part of the Facilities team, ensuring all site machinery is serviced and maintained in compliance with current regulations and high health and safety standards.
- Maintenance Management: Supervise planned and preventative maintenance, ensuring timely completion and adherence to statutory compliance standards.
- Repair Coordination: Prioritize and manage repairs within agreed timelines, maintaining effective communication with relevant stakeholders regarding progress.
- Contractor Management: Oversee and coordinate contractors and auditors, ensuring all necessary permits are secured before any work commences.
- Process Enhancement: Apply Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies to assess and refine on-site processes.
- HSE Documentation Management: Monitor, review, and update Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) documentation as necessary.
- Incident Analysis: Conduct investigations into near misses and accidents on-site, ensuring that all required actions are implemented.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Demonstrated experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), work scheduling, and HSE standards, particularly in a production facility context.
- CI Proficiency: Practical experience with Continuous Improvement tools and techniques.
- Technical Competence: Skills in maintenance tasks and proficiency in computer applications, including Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities and a strong capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel between locations and adaptability in working hours.
- Driving Qualifications: A valid and clean driving license is essential.
