Job Title: Content and Social Media Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Content and Social Media Officer to join our team. As a key member of our digital communications team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing our social media strategy, relating to our productions and activity across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement social media content that maximises engagement, growth, and reach of our channels and promotes our brand.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Development and Visual Communications teams to generate video content and assets for social media.
  • Monitor and report on social media activity, using analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Respond to customer queries across all social media channels and safeguard the reputation of the brand.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working in social media.
  • Excellent copywriting, planning, and communication skills with the ability to create simple, clear, and engaging content for a range of audiences.
  • Experience with a range of social media platforms, including X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • A data-driven approach and the ability to measure, monitor, and continually improve social media performance.
What We Offer:

We offer a full-time, permanent position based in Stratford-upon-Avon, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A degree of flexibility will be required according to workload, including some evening and weekend work as required. The RSC is committed to flexible working and there may be occasions when you can work remotely, subject to your line manager's approval.
