About the Role:
The post holder will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to METRO Charity's Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services. This will involve managing a team of programme managers who oversee services across London and the Southeast, including Hertfordshire, Kent, and Medway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and delivery of SRH services, ensuring they remain collaborative, agile, and innovative.
- Manage a team of programme managers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of services.
- Ensure services are aligned with METRO Charity's strategic objectives and priorities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and NHS partners.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SRH services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Programme Scope:
- Sexual Health Office: oversee online sexual health testing services, results management, the National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP), free condom distribution programmes for young people, and other services.
- Clinical services: manage community sexual health clinics.
- Sexual Health Outreach and Community engagement: focus on young people and vulnerable communities.
- Deliver and develop sexual health-focused training when and where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Excellent project management and people skills.
- Good understanding of sexual and reproductive health as delivered in the community.
- Experience in managing local authority and NHS contracts and grant-funded projects.
