Position Summary:
As a Care Support Specialist, your key duties will encompass:
- Facilitating group activities and social outings.
- Assisting with grocery shopping and meal preparation.
- Delivering compassionate dementia care.
- Performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Accompanying clients to their scheduled appointments.
- Managing or reminding clients regarding their medication.
- Providing personal care support as required.
Work Schedule:
This position requires availability from 6pm to 9pm on 4 to 5 days a week, with optional weekend shifts. You will typically handle a maximum of 2 visits each evening, as all assignments are scheduled for an hour or longer. Additionally, we compensate for travel time between visits, resulting in total weekly hours that can vary. Should you desire additional hours, overtime opportunities are available.
