About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Consultant to join our team at Scott Risk Management Ltd. As a Health and Safety Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients' employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough health and safety audits and assessments to identify potential risks and hazards
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety management systems to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on health and safety best practices and procedures
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement health and safety training programs to ensure employee awareness and understanding
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating risks and hazards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure ongoing health and safety support and guidance
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant health and safety legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a health and safety consultancy or management role
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and supporting regulations
  • Fire Risk Assessment qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify risks and hazards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Full driving license and use of own vehicle
