Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Expert to join our team at our customer's site in Derby on a contract basis.

  • Contract length: Derby
  • Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella solution

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate and manage system requirements.
  2. Design, specify, test, and commission Electrical Control and Instrumentation systems.
  3. Prepare technical reports and documentation to industry standards.
  4. Conduct site visits to review designs, investigate issues, and commission equipment.
  5. Support installation and commissioning teams to resolve queries and issues.

Requirements

  1. HND or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience in engineering design to commercial standards within the electrical, control, or automation industries.

Desirable Skills

  1. Experience in selecting and implementing instrumentation solutions.
  2. Knowledge of testing, setting to work, and commissioning C&I systems.
  3. Understanding of UKCA compliance and relevant European directives.
