Job Title: Senior Configuration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Configuration Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Configuration Manager of any given project, including responsibility for the Product definition and/or Configuration Management of a minor project or major parts of a project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Configuration Manager in the development and implementation of Configuration Management plans and procedures.
  • Review and approve engineering changes to ensure compliance with business processes and project requirements.
  • Provide draft Configuration Management document updates to the project Configuration Manager ahead of the review period.
  • Prepare comprehensive and timely reports for Configuration Meetings.
  • Ensure control of project design definitions are adhered to across the development, production, and in-service phases.
Requirements:
  • High level of knowledge regarding principles of Configuration Management and the application of these within a demanding yet professional engineering environment.
  • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders and positively promote the Configuration Management group through a supportive and proactive approach with internal customers.
  • Valid transferable UK SC Level Security Clearance and UK Eyes Only' (UKEO) clearance.
