Assistant Care Manager

As an Assistant Care Manager, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex behavioral needs. Your primary responsibility will be to foster positive relationships among all stakeholders involved in delivering exceptional support within our residential facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the delivery of high-quality services by collaborating effectively with colleagues and external partners.
2. Build and maintain constructive relationships with families and other professionals.
3. Support the Registered Manager in budget reviews, staff scheduling, and liaising with regulatory bodies.
4. Provide guidance, supervision, and professional development to staff, including conducting appraisals.
5. Contribute to the formulation of new policies and practices, ensuring compliance with quality management systems and regulatory standards.
6. Step in for the manager during their absence.

Required Experience and Skills:
- Commitment to undertaking the Skills for Care Induction.
- Hold a QCF Level 3 or NVQ Level 3/4 qualification.
- Previous experience in a residential or supported living environment, including supervisory roles, particularly with adults with learning disabilities.
- Proficient in person-centered planning, care and support planning, and risk assessment.
