Senior Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at St Brendans Care Home in Crowthorne. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Home Manager, Deputy Manager, and Assistant Manager in the efficient and caring management of the home.
  • Conduct walking handovers, ensuring accountability for all residents at the start and end of shifts.
  • Support the training and development of all staff, ensuring the implementation and monitoring of the in-house training program to a high standard.
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Ensure the home is safe and secure, conducting regular checks throughout the night for each resident's individual needs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of NVQ Level 2, working towards NVQ Level 3 or above.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff.
  • Effective communication and interaction skills.
