Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our Process Simulation team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing innovative software solutions for simulating stress effects within semiconductor materials and devices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, and maintain simulation software focused on mechanical and viscous stress phenomena.
  • Identify and analyze limitations of existing software components to propose improvements and enhancements.
  • Develop and refine numerical methods, physical models, and simulation methodologies for accurate stress analysis.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet industry standards.
  • Contribute to the documentation and technical support of our simulation software products.

Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. in Physics, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ or equivalent object-oriented programming languages is essential.
  • Extensive experience in software design and development within a team environment is highly desirable.
  • Proven expertise in simulating stress-related problems, including validation of simulation results, is crucial.
  • A solid understanding of solid-state physics, mechanics of materials, and the theory of elasticity is required.
