Job Description:

We are pleased to be working with a well-established insurance broker in the UK who offer a genuinely fantastic proposition, and one that we feel is a great cause, with one of the brands under this business donating 25% of their commissions to a wide range of animal charities. They are passionate about supporting the natural world, and this is something the founding Director is really passionate about and this broker's mission statement.

As a Commercial Insurance Account Handler/Executive, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including commercial and personal lines risks. You will be responsible for new business as well as handling existing clients, and will have the chance to work with a range of insurance products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling new business and existing clients for commercial and personal lines risks
  • Working with a range of insurance products, including commercial lines classes of business
  • Building strong relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities
  • Working closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring that clients are satisfied with the service they receive

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a broking role, with experience gained in a new business focused position
  • Strong communication and sales skills, with a flair for building relationships
  • Knowledge of Open GI system would be a distinct advantage, although not essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
