Job Summary:
The Professional Midwifery Advocate role is a key position within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, responsible for leading the implementation and embedding of the A-EQUIP model. This model aims to provide a framework for continuous improvement processes that build personal and professional resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the activities of the existing PMA team to ensure midwives, other staff, and students have access to a PMA when needed.
- Develop an effective communication strategy to keep all PMAs informed of current issues in maternity, local, regional, and national.
- Support the provision of the highest quality patient care through leading the implementation and embedding of the A-EQUIP model.
- Contribute to the various programmes of maternity transformation at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
- Collaborate with the North West London sector for areas of responsibility.
