Job Description

**Job Title:** Associate Director

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our team at Ecocareers. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives and overseeing the implementation of social and environmental performance management, impact management, product innovation, digital transformation, knowledge management, and communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the successful implementation of our social and environmental performance management, impact management, product innovation, digital transformation, knowledge management, and communications initiatives.

  2. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve our strategic objectives, including developing and implementing team plans, setting goals and objectives, and providing coaching and mentoring to team members.

  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, donors, and partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

  4. Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of our initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  5. Knowledge Management: Develop and implement knowledge management systems to capture and share best practices, lessons learned, and research findings.

  6. Communications: Develop and implement effective communications strategies to promote our initiatives and engage with stakeholders.

  7. Expansion and Transformation: Support the setup and growth of new initiatives and programs, including developing business cases, securing funding, and leading implementation teams.

  8. Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of our team members and stakeholders, and implement safeguarding policies and procedures to prevent harm and exploitation.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field.

  2. Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role, with a proven track record of success in strategic leadership, team management, stakeholder engagement, financial management, knowledge management, communications, and expansion and transformation.

  3. Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve strategic objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Strong financial management skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
