POSITION DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

The Senior Expert in Procurement and Supply Chain is a pivotal role within the NTT DATA Digital Core Practice. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a broader team dedicated to designing and implementing SAP solutions tailored to our clients' requirements. As a Senior Expert, you will engage in customer interactions and oversee the delivery of Procurement and Supply Chain solutions, working closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and the Integration Team to provide innovative, high-quality solutions integrated with core S4/ECC and non-SAP systems.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Assist the Procurement and Supply Chain Solution Architect in closely collaborating with clients and NTT DATA's sales and business development teams to translate business needs into effective solutions that leverage Procurement and Supply Chain capabilities.
  • Provide strategic insights to NTT DATA and its clients, focusing on Supply Chain strategies, particularly within Procurement and Supply Chain solutions.
  • Serve as the design authority on projects, ensuring that the quality and integrity of implemented Procurement and Supply Chain solutions align with industry best practices.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of new technologies and developments, ensuring NTT DATA remains a market leader. Share and communicate expert knowledge to enhance business processes.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat and extended business related to NTT DATA's end-to-end service offerings and provide valuable input to support business growth.
  • Demonstrate strong delivery and configuration expertise across Procurement and Supply Chain process flows.
  • Possess experience in delivering ECC WM and Basic EWM solutions.

PERSONAL PROFILE - SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to communicate, influence, and inspire effectively, acting as a trusted advisor within the Procurement and Supply Chain solution architecture domain.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering customer projects and providing Procurement and Supply Chain solutions for complex requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both within NTT DATA and externally.
  • Exhibit personal integrity and the ability to navigate unforeseen challenges while maintaining focus on business objectives.
  • Make sound decisions in complex environments.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing to enhance operational effectiveness.

PERSONAL PROFILE – EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience of over 10 years in an SAP environment, with at least 6 years in Procurement and Supply Chain consulting. Experience with value-added resellers or software houses is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in solution design and architecture, successfully delivering all elements of more than 5 full project lifecycles.
  • Cross-functional knowledge is desirable, with an understanding of core processes in other logistics modules.
