Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Management Admin Clerk to join our team at Aston Carter. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our inventory, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders, and maintaining excellent relationships with our suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including gases and parts
  • Process and fulfill customer orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Address customer complaints and supplier queries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Compile and maintain confidential records as required
  • Set up appointments, schedule meetings, and distribute reports as needed
  • Conduct supplier/vendor cost analysis to ensure optimal pricing and efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management and reduce costs
  • Manage contractor/sub-contractor inductions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Coordinate the shipping and transportation of instruments

Requirements:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Working Conditions:

This is a contract position with a competitive hourly rate. The ideal candidate will be based in Peterborough, UK, and will be required to work on-site.
