Purchase Ledger Clerk Role

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client in Peterborough due to growth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient running of the department, adhering to company accounting policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the purchase ledger, including reconciliations and maintenance.
  • Plan and manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed.
  • Strive for a consistently high standard of ledger maintenance to ensure accurate information is available for decision-making.
  • Raise and process payments for suppliers, as well as register and process invoices.
Requirements:
  • High attention to detail and ability to input data accurately.
  • Self-management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good IT skills and ability to retain information.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of £25,000 - £26,000, dependent on experience.
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of part-time hours.
  • Big PLC company benefits, including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
