About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of operational activities related to Anti Money Laundering and Sanctions, as well as leading a team of specialists in Customer Onboarding and Ongoing Due Diligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with group policies and procedures while developing local processes to improve the quality and consistency of the team's work.
  • Manage and coach a team of specialists, monitoring team outputs and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management at various levels, internally and externally, as the role requires reporting to multiple divisions.
  • Oversee new business onboarding and provide advisory support on financial crime matters.
  • Provision of reports to Local Management and Group Functions, ensuring completeness of internal systems and databases.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Anti Money Laundering and Sanctions regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
