About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Brain Injury team as a Senior Rehabilitation Therapist. This exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the team supporting the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) beds for rehabilitation in a care facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • To use the principles of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, and Speech and Language Therapy in an integrated and client-centred way to promote independence and facilitate safe discharge.
  • To assess and manage delegated patients with non-complex mobility and occupational difficulties, reporting back to the registered practitioner as necessary.
  • To support the team with administration, clerical, and housekeeping duties.
Requirements
  • GCSE level C or equivalent for literacy or numeracy.
  • Basic keyboard skills with the ability to input data accurately.
  • Relevant experience working as a therapy assistant, support worker, or equivalent in a healthcare setting in the UK.
  • Ability and willingness to drive as part of the role, except if disability precludes driving.
  • Positive interpersonal skills to be able to communicate appropriately with staff, carers, and patients.
