Job Title: Cloud Technical Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Technical Analyst to join our team at Cadent Gas Ltd. As a Cloud Technical Analyst, you will be responsible for the availability, reliability, maintenance, and service operation of our IT cloud infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support and maintain our cloud environment to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  2. Provide technical assurance for our AWS tenant managed by our service provider.
  3. Investigate and resolve high-priority incidents and problem management related to IT services.
  4. Contribute to the development and management of our IT Maintenance Roadmap.
  5. Patch and update our cloud infrastructure on a regular basis.
  6. Analyze and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.
  7. Develop and implement standards, processes, and playbooks for our AWS environment.
  8. Apply the Well-Architected Framework for AWS services and promote best practices.
  9. Manage continuous integration and deployment methodologies for server-based technologies.
  10. Collaborate with our Technical Strategy and Solution Delivery functions to design and implement scalable software services.
Requirements:
  1. Educated to degree level in computing or a related field.
  2. Minimum AWS Associate level qualification.
  3. Extensive experience in IT, with strong experience in a second/third line support role.
  4. Solid understanding of DevOps in a cloud environment.
  5. ITIL Foundation certification.
  6. Experience with agile development methodologies.
  7. Experience working in an agile product-centric environment.
  8. Experience with Agile, SCRUM, and Prince2 methodologies.
  9. Experience supporting mission-critical systems.
