The Role: Ramp Services Agent - Early Shift

As a Ramp Services Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of aircraft turnarounds. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, all contributing to the safe and timely movement of passengers and cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and transport baggage and cargo with precision and care.
  • Load and unload aircraft efficiently, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Provide expert marshalling services for aircraft, guiding them safely during ground operations.
  • Operate specialized ground handling equipment proficiently, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate closely with flight crews to execute aircraft engine start-ups, contributing to a seamless departure process.
  • Participate in seasonal operational activities such as de-icing and anti-icing, adapting to varying weather conditions.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Possess a full UK/EC/EEA clean driving licence with at least 6 months of experience.
  • Have excellent colour vision for safe operation of equipment and identification of aircraft markings.
  • Demonstrate physical fitness to handle demanding tasks involving lifting, standing, and bending for extended periods.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures.
  • Be a reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to contribute to a positive work environment.
