About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Lead to join our team at ECOM in Manchester. As a key member of our product engineering squad, you will play a crucial role in shaping our approach to software engineering and driving the development of cloud native and event-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of greenfield cloud native systems using modern XP practices and DevOps principles.
  • Work across the full stack, leveraging your expertise in NET Core, TypeScript, and AWS, Azure, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Collaborate with the team to adopt and implement modern software engineering practices.
  • Contribute to the development of a scalable and maintainable software architecture.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software engineering, with a strong background in NET Core and cloud native development.
  • Excellent understanding of modern software engineering practices, including XP and DevOps.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, Docker, and Terraform, with a strong understanding of cloud native architecture.
