We're seeking a talented Lead Data Analyst for Category Development to join our EU team. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our commercial strategy and supply chain performance by uncovering actionable insights from our vast datasets.

Your Impact:
  • Develop innovative analytical approaches to understand customer behavior, market trends, and product performance. Embed these insights into the daily decision-making processes of our Category & In-Stock teams.
  • Uncover hidden patterns and trends through rigorous quantitative analysis and experimentation. Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership and category managers.
  • Influence strategic and tactical decisions across the EU by effectively communicating your findings and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Build sophisticated models to inform pricing strategies, ensuring we remain competitive while maximizing profitability.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of our inventory management policies and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Insights team to support research projects and integrate customer feedback into category development strategies.
  • Partner with our Operations team to ensure accurate inventory reporting and capacity planning, empowering the In-Stock team to make informed buying decisions.
  • Foster a data-driven culture by coaching and mentoring teams to enhance their data literacy and analytical skills.
Your Expertise:
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or data science, ideally within the grocery, retail, or supply chain industries.
  • A strong foundation in statistical analysis and experimental design.
  • Proficiency in SQL and databases, with the ability to write efficient queries on large datasets.
  • Experience with dbt, Python, R, and GitHub is a significant advantage.
  • Expertise in BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, with a preference for Looker and LookML.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present data-driven insights through compelling visualizations and storytelling.
  • A highly analytical mindset, with a passion for uncovering hidden patterns and driving data-informed decisions.
