About the Role:

Eliteemployment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Team Manager to join our team. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained for children from newborn to 5 years old.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of nursery staff to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
  2. Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the quality of care and education provided to children.
  3. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  4. Conduct regular observations and assessments to monitor children's progress and development.
  5. Work closely with parents and carers to ensure their needs are met and their children receive the best possible care.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early years education and care.
  7. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the nursery remains compliant with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Cache Level 3 Diploma or NVQ Level 3 equivalent in Early Years Education and Care.
  2. Proven experience working with children from newborn to 5 years old in a nursery or similar setting.
  3. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
  5. Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the nursery and its children.
  6. Passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children.
