Lead Donor and Volunteer Relations at the University of Cambridge

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Donor and Volunteer Relations team, driving supporter engagement and philanthropy to advance the University's mission.

About the Role

  • Lead a team to deliver exceptional donor and volunteer experiences, ensuring every giving experience is a joy and supporters feel thanked, appreciated, and recognised.
  • Grow the team to bring supporter engagement to the next level, overseeing bespoke events, reports, visits, thanking, communications, and experiences for Cambridge's most generous donors and volunteers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to position the mandate and value of supporter relations, leveraging professional experience in high-performing supporter relations teams or fundraising in fast-paced or complex environments.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to inspire and guide a dedicated team, fostering strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Contribute to the University's hybrid working model, with a minimum of two days in the office per week.
