The Role: Process Control Specialist
As a Process Control Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our treatment processes. This is a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, offering a challenging and rewarding experience.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our treatment processes, including sludge management systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal company requirements, regulatory standards, and customer demands.
- Optimize sludge throughput from wastewater treatment works to the THP plant.
- Identify and address process faults, escalating issues to maintenance or performance managers as needed.
- Conduct isolations on plant equipment and issue permits to work, adhering to safe working practices.
- Support capital project works by coordinating maintenance and operational personnel.
- Monitor stock levels and arrange deliveries as required.
- Collect and analyze data to ensure regulatory compliance and reporting requirements are met.
- Prioritize safety and security, conducting regular checks and ensuring the well-being of yourself and your colleagues.
What We're Looking For:
- Completion of NVQ Level 2 units, BTEC, or equivalent experience.
- Technical C&G or HNC qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Experience in the water industry, particularly managing or controlling relevant treatment processes is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and be flexible with responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
