Process Controller

As a Day Process Controller at Thames Water, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our treatment plants. Your primary responsibility will be to control and monitor the day-to-day processes, including the THP sludge stream, to meet customer demand and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and control the treatment plant processes, including the THP sludge stream, to ensure efficient and effective operation.
- Monitor and report on plant performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operational teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Completion of NVQ level 2 units, BTEC, or equivalent experience.
- Technical C&G or HNC desirable but not essential.
- Ideally, experience in the water industry, experience managing or controlling the relevant treatment processes.
- Ability to work unsupervised and be prepared to cover shifts if required.
- Understanding of operational health and safety procedures and perimetry.
- Previous experience with SCADA systems would be an advantage.
- Competitive salary starting from £29,040- £40,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
- Annual Leave - 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
