Job Description

Graduate Technical Bid Writer

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially savvy Graduate to join our team as a Technical Bid Writer. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and producing compelling written bids to secure new business opportunities for our industry-leading machine-learning software company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine proposals with a business-focused approach, aligning content with input from key departments including Technology, Commercial, Operations, and Legal teams.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across the business to create clear, engaging content that showcases our products' unique advantages.
  • Produce top-tier bid materials, including completing questionnaires, tenders, and RFP submissions, while ensuring timely completion and high-quality output.
  • Assist the wider Business Team and other functional departments in producing high-quality content for successful tenders and proposals, managing tight deadlines.
  • Oversee project management tasks, such as assigning, monitoring, reporting, and fast-tracking tasks for RFP projects, escalating any issues that may delay timely completion to project leaders.
  • Keep records of content and data up to date to support future opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A 2:1 or 1st class degree from a leading university.
  • Minimum of AAB at A Level (or equivalent UCAS points).
  • Commercial intelligence and a strong understanding of the software industry.
  • Highly articulate with excellent written capabilities and the ability to articulate complex concepts in a concise, yet simple manner.
  • Enthusiastic with a desire to work in a fast-paced innovative environment and thrive working with autonomy.
  • Strong technical understanding, with coding skills beneficial for liaising with technical teams.
