Job Title: Outdoor Activity Leader

Join our team as an Outdoor Activity Leader and be part of an exciting opportunity to deliver an exceptional outdoor education experience for children.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outdoor Activity Leader to join our team at Ultimate Activity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of bushcraft and outdoor activities, leading from the front and managing a team of instructors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver activities for children aged 7-14, focusing on participation, skill development, and enjoyment.
  • Directly manage a team of staff to ensure they deliver high-quality activities and care.
  • Inspire your staff to deliver quality activities by leading by example with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
  • Liaise with Head Office and communicate with parents and host school staff.
  • Manage administrative duties, including sign-in and sign-out procedures, registration, and staff rotas.
  • Liaise with other program teams to ensure smooth site operations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in outdoor education, with a focus on bushcraft and working with children.
  • Natural leadership skills and management experience, ideally in outdoor education or holiday camps.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Ultimate Survival activities.
  • Good decision-making skills and adaptability.
