Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Adventure Activity Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality outdoor activities and workshops to groups of children aged 7-14.

Key Responsibilities
  • Activity Delivery: Prepare and deliver engaging and challenging outdoor activities that promote participation, development, and enjoyment for children aged 7-14.
  • Group Leadership: Take a pastoral role as a group leader, supporting and caring for children throughout the week while promoting their welfare and best interests.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to by yourself and the children in your care, including all health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the camp and the delivery of high-quality activities.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing circumstances and challenges.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children in an outdoor education setting, preferably in a similar camp environment.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in outdoor education, first aid, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and adults.
  • Personal Qualities: A passion for working with children, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality activities and experiences.
