We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Lift Manager to join our team at PDA Search and Selection Ltd.

Job Purpose:

The Heavy Lift Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering lift engineering works across the estate, ensuring effective two-way communication with contractors and stakeholders. The role requires strong technical knowledge, audit and challenge skills, and the ability to document critical audit checks in line with best practices and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop excellent working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Deliver effective management of all approved contractors, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Compliance with all City policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Recruitment & Selection, and relevant legislation.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of training and technical knowledge requirements as directed to Technicians.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Lift engineering.
  • Working knowledge of the maintenance service within the FM industry, with previous experience of a multi-client contracted environment.
  • Strong PC literacy, with experience in extracting, collating, and presenting performance data.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Strong results focus, takes accountability for own performance and that of the team.
