As a Purchasing Coordinator at Quick Staff UK Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely supply of greetings cards and associated components. Your key responsibilities will include forecasting requirements, liaising with purchasing and production managers, and managing the order process from beginning to end.
You will work closely with the team to understand supplier capabilities and capacities, as well as customer requirements. Your goal will be to add value by helping to decide where orders are to be placed, ensuring accuracy and clarity of paperwork at all times.
In addition, you will be responsible for managing stock levels of all components, working with stakeholders to review forecasts and requirements, and ensuring adequate supply at the correct price at all times. You will also be responsible for negotiating price and supply where appropriate to the best result of the company.
Key Requirements:
- Organised and able to prioritise and multi task
- Methodical and organised with excellent attention to detail
- Numerate and analytical with excellent Excel spreadsheet skills
- Confident with lots of product and data and can ensure excellent results.
- Proven expertise in negotiation
