Job Title: Logistics Coordinator


Job Description:


At Quick Staff UK, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our supply chain.


Main Responsibilities:


• Production Reports: You will be responsible for reviewing stock levels and instigating reorder processing to maintain optimal stock levels.


• Order Management: You will oversee orders to ensure that stock is available in accordance with requirements.


• Product Planning: You will work closely with our product planner to review products, taking into account product life, season, and average monthly sales.


• Reporting: You will produce and distribute weekly and monthly reports to stakeholders.


• Purchase Orders: You will raise purchase orders as and when required.


• Sales and Inventory Management: You will monitor sales and suggest requirements to meet delivery demands.


• Forward Order Report: You will run the forward order report to ensure that stock is available to satisfy delivery demands.


• Stock Availability Reports: You will produce and circulate stock availability reports as required.


• Product Launch Requirements: You will help set up and ensure that product launch requirements are met.


• Liaison with Colleagues: You will liaise with colleagues to ensure that product is available to meet launch and delivery deadlines.


• Economic Production Schedules: You will extrapolate sales and plan economic production schedules to meet customer and company objectives.


• Project Management: You will communicate and monitor all aspects of projects to ensure timely delivery.


• National Order Management: You will keep a record of all national orders with received and delivery dates.


• Management Information System: You will create and input new requirements on the Management Information System as and when required.


• Collaboration with Production Staff: You will work closely with all other production staff to allow efficient and cost-effective processing of all purchase orders.


• Delivery Date Accuracy: You will ensure that all delivery dates for products are accurate on request.


• Shipping and Supplier Liaison: You will liaise with appropriate shipping agents and Far-East suppliers to ensure that goods are delivered into the UK in a timely manner and at the best price to meet company requirements and expectations.


Requirements:


• Direct Procurement Experience: You will have experience in direct procurement, gained in an FMCG environment.


• Savings and Value Delivery: You will have experience of delivering savings and value from existing suppliers and contracts.


• Stakeholder Engagement: You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, ideally gained in a complex multi-divisional environment with the ability to demonstrate strong negotiation skills.


• Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills.
