About the Role

Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our operative department, you will be responsible for delivering safe and quality care to patients during their peri-operative phase of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of theatre practitioners to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient safety and reduce complications.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Circle Health Group's policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty.
  • ENB 998 and/or mentorship course.
  • Approved / recognised anaesthetic course.
  • ILS.
  • Orthopaedic skill.
  • Mentorship qualification.
  • ILM3.
  • Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment.
  • Previous experience managing and leading a clinical team.
