- Compensation: The salary for this role is up to £35,710, accompanied by a company vehicle or electric car, a potential bonus of up to 10%, sick pay, 25+8 days of annual leave, and a 5% pension contribution.
Key Responsibilities:
You will oversee and support recycling facilities within your designated area, ensuring adherence to all relevant site standards and the effective allocation of personnel and resources, including resale operations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and address complaints related to the facilities, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure that the sites are adequately staffed and that working hours are managed effectively, providing necessary information to payroll for accurate staff compensation.
- Maintain up-to-date records on-site in compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation, including training documentation, safe working practices, and risk assessments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in a supervisory role is essential, and candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to recycling, along with proficient communication and computer skills.
- As a team player, you should possess a COTC Level 4 Hazardous Waste (Transfer) qualification.
- A solid understanding of health and safety and environmental regulations in the workplace, along with the capability to develop risk assessments and standard operating procedures.
- Experience in the waste management sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
