This position is crucial for ensuring that operations run smoothly, effectively, and in alignment with the organization's strategic goals. The administrator will work closely with cross-departmental teams, oversee logistics, and support regional operations to boost productivity and enhance customer satisfaction.

Compensation:
£35,000 Negotiable Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
- Manage daily operations across various European locations.
- Ensure adherence to local laws and company policies.
- Evaluate operational performance and implement enhancements.
- Engage extensively with clients to foster relationships and maximize the potential of the European Road freight business.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop reliable and cost-effective European services.
- Calculate freight quotes for both export and import shipments.
- Handle operational administration, including job documentation and supplier booking confirmations.
Logistics and Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee supply chain activities, including procurement, transportation, and inventory control.
- Communicate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Manage warehouse operations to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Prepare all necessary operational documentation, including customs clearance.
- Oversee European road freight consignments from transit to successful delivery.
- Invoice and complete job files.
Project Management:
- Assist in the planning and execution of regional projects.
- Monitor project progress and report on milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate resources and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, specifically in European Road Freight.
- Understanding of post-Brexit European customs clearance requirements.
- Strong and clear communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Numerate with experience in calculating freight quotes.
- Proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft applications.
