About the Role
The University of Reading is a world-renowned institution, ranked highly in various international rankings. As part of our SportsPark department, we are seeking a skilled Sports Operations Coordinator to join our Business & Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide key facility and operational support to SportsPark users, ensuring a high-quality experience.
- Lead on the development and delivery of various sport and active wellbeing projects and programmes across the University.
- Support Sports Facilities Managers with facility and operational requirements, as well as sports development duties.
- Contribute to the development of sport and active wellbeing to a range of customers.
Requirements
- Excellent understanding and experience of customer service and delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Operational management experience in sports facility operations, including health and safety.
- Ability to use initiative and contribute to the development of sport and active wellbeing.
Working Arrangements
The successful candidate will be required to work a shift pattern that covers early mornings and evenings, as well as two weekends in three, to ensure the SportsPark facilities are operated to full efficiency throughout business hours.
