About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our Accident Repair Bodyshop Team in Leicester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing or replacing damaged bodywork panels of vehicles in accordance with received instructions or job card details.
Main Responsibilities:
- Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing the damaged panels or replacing those that are beyond repair.
- Operate all necessary equipment, including jigs, fixtures, and welding tools, following instructions and adhering to prescribed safety standards.
- Follow manufacturer's literature and modification bulletins when applicable to ensure proper repair and replacement of chassis and panel work.
- Attend relevant training courses as necessary to stay updated on new techniques and advancements in the field.
- Handle all vehicles with utmost care and attention, ensuring customer satisfaction and care are always maintained.
- Keep the company's tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and functional condition.
Requirements:
- Preferably with ATA qualification, but not mandatory as Time Served Panel Technicians are welcome to apply.
