Full Stack Java Developer at Barclays

Barclays is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer to join our team in Northampton. As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will play a key role in the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes that manage large volumes of data and adhere to security measures.
  • Develop processing and analysis algorithms fit for complex data volumes and complexity.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.
  • Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you own or contribute to.
  • Make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information, paying attention to detail.
  • Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function, building a network of contacts outside the team and external to the organization.
Requirements
  • B-Tech/BE/BSc/MCA or higher with a computer background.
  • Experience with development in core Java 11, with JPA/Hibernate, Spring, and event-driven concepts.
  • Awareness of Cloud hosting – OpenShift Enterprise, AWS, etc.
