About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Centre Engineer to join our team at Amazon Data Services UK Limited. As a key member of our Data Centre Global Engineering Operations organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our data centre facilities infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the data centre facilities infrastructure platform to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external teams, providing technical expertise and support as needed.
  • Assist in the development of communication and escalation protocols to improve team performance.
  • Contribute to outage post-mortem analysis and ensure records are updated in a timely manner.
  • Assist with coordination and communication during emergency recovery efforts.
  • Develop tools to enhance team performance and support a 24/7 environment.

  • High school or equivalent diploma.
