Fundraising Specialist

RABI, a leading UK farming charity, is seeking a skilled Fundraiser to join our dynamic Fundraising team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for researching and identifying charitable trusts that can provide financial support to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough research to identify potential charitable trusts and foundations that align with RABI's mission and goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key trust representatives to secure funding opportunities.
- Prepare and submit high-quality applications to charitable trusts, ensuring timely follow-up and stewardship of relationships.
- Update our CRM system to accurately record activities, communications, donations, and other important details.
- Compile statistical and background research to support the development of new and existing relationships with charitable trusts.
- Monitor trust income for finance purposes, ensuring accurate coding and reporting.
- Provide general administrative and wider Fundraising team support.
- A minimum of three years' experience in successful trust fundraising.
- Excellent understanding of fundraising disciplines and strategies.
- Proactive team player with self-motivation and confidence in working independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information accurately and engagingly.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent IT skills and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Affinity with RABI's mission and goals, with a strong understanding of the UK farming sector.
