About the Role

**EKFB's Civil Engineering Apprentice Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Civil Engineering Apprentice. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will assist Site Engineers in major engineering control activities, applying engineering principles and techniques to support technical problem solving and design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, design, programming, and delivery of engineering activities to agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Contribute to the preparation and production of sketches, diagrams, and models to support technical problem solving and design.
  • Use quality systems and risk assessment procedures to monitor and manage projects and their risks.
  • Assist with site inspections and surveys, reporting progress against project plans and checking specified technical aspects of site activities.

About You

  • You will have a strong foundation in English and Maths, with a GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above.
  • A-Level or BTEC qualification in Engineering or Construction is preferred.
  • You will possess a full driving license and have access to a vehicle for daily travel to and from work.

As a joint venture between international market leaders Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Agroman, and BAM Nuttall, EKFB brings together specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks. Our scope of works includes 15 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 67 overbridges, and around 30 million cubic meters of excavation.
