The consultancy offers a range of services including Surveys, Feasibility Studies, Report and Advisory Work, Design, Building Modelling and Thermal Simulation, Construction Monitoring and Supervision, Project Management, Energy Advice, BREEAM Assessments, and Expert Witness.

Their experience encompasses all types of projects including Commercial, Leisure, Retail, Residential, Mixed Use, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Scientific, Technology, Historic, and Law & Order.

The consultancy has been awarded several new contracts and is now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work in coordination with all other design team members, internal and external, and provide excellent client care and reporting throughout the whole project life cycle.

The Position

As the Senior Electrical Design Engineer, your role will involve the following key areas:

  1. Work in coordination with all other design team members, internal and external, and provide excellent client care and reporting throughout the whole project life cycle.
  2. Arrange and carry out site surveys as required and prepare the appropriate reports.
  3. Demonstrate and deliver acceptable technical and report writing skills.
  4. Carry out condition surveys and feasibility studies.
  5. As required, produce designs, calculations, room data sheets, equipment schedules, and specifications and other technical information as required to meet the agreed project stage / level, and coordinate these with others in conjunction with the CAD Department.
  6. Carry out and report on defects inspections and snagging and input into the witnessing of commissioning.
  7. Assist with the supervision and mentoring of any junior, trainee, or graduate engineers as agreed, and where required, provide technical support to others and encourage innovation and engineering development.

The Person

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with:

  1. Ideal degree qualification in a relevant engineering discipline such as building services or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  2. Background in Electrical Engineering / Building Services design environment.
  3. Technical Report Writing.
  4. Design Experience using Amtech IESVE, Auto Cad, and/or 3D Revit software packages.
  5. MS Office (Strong MS Excel User).
