Compliance and Contracts Manager – UK & Ireland – Pharmaceuticals
Pharma-Partners Recruitment Ltd is seeking a seasoned Compliance and Contracts Manager to join our team in the UK & Ireland affiliate of a European pharmaceutical business.
This role will lead the local compliance framework, providing expert advice to the leadership and cross-functional teams, and supporting contracting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the UK&I compliance framework, ensuring alignment with relevant laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with changes to codes of practice, laws, and regulations, and ensure their application.
- Provide training and awareness programs for teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain, update, and communicate key processes, SOPs, policies, and fair market value frameworks.
- Deliver regular reporting and analytics to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Global Legal to manage contracting queries and negotiations.
- Support and advise the local Senior Leadership Team on compliance matters.
- Maintain expertise in GDPR and local data protection requirements.
- Ensure adherence to the ABPI Code and relevant UK&I laws and regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in compliance and contracts management in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of the ABPI & IPHA Code and relevant UK&I laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles.
- Excellent business partnering, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to make risk-based decisions and drive compliance initiatives.
