Job Title: Account HR Business Partner

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing junior team members and supporting senior management stakeholders with the full employee lifecycle, from employee relations to performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a strong HR service delivery to regional teams, working closely with HR Business Partners to ensure consistency across regions.
  • Deliver a varied caseload of HR work and projects, providing advice, guidance, and practical support across the full range of people activities, including job evaluation, retention, contracts, policy development, and employee relations cases.
  • Support line managers in continuous improvement of service delivery to end-users.
  • Line manage HR Advisers, providing coaching, development, and support to enhance their performance and professional development.
  • Deliver upskilling and coaching of managers in people-related matters to ensure thoroughness, consistency, and fairness in the application of policy, procedure, and best practice.
  • Identify and support employee retention initiatives.
  • Make data-driven decisions through thorough data analysis, providing relevant reports and solutions to line managers.

Requirements:

  • Level 7 CIPD qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience of line management of an HR team.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and dealing with varied employee relations casework.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
  • A not-for-profit or social care background would be beneficial.
  • Trade union experience would be beneficial.
