Salary: Up to £75,000 + benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Marks Sattin (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading the month-end reporting, consolidation of company accounts, cash flow forecasting, profit and loss analysis, and assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the month-end reporting process to ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to senior management.
  • Consolidate company accounts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide insights for business decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to ensure the company's financial stability and growth.
  • Perform profit and loss analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize business performance.
  • Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Present key financial information to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Act as the key contact for auditors and banking partners to ensure smooth communication and resolution of any issues.
  • Lead the development and improvement of processes, controls, and systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage a small finance team to ensure the team is equipped to meet the company's financial needs.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong academic background in accounting or finance.
  • Developed technical accounting skills with experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills to analyze and present complex financial data.
  • Experience working in a business services organisation is desirable but not essential.
