We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SIM Operator to join our team at Capita. As a SIM Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Royal Navy's training program by operating complex simulator games and ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the simulator equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a pseudo pilot, operating simulator games as per the Royal Navy training curriculum.
- Support the maintenance and upkeep of the simulator equipment and aids.
- Ensure all training equipment is correctly prepared for use and for storage post-use.
- Collect and disseminate data from each simulator.
- Experience within the Maritime Aviation Sector, Military or Civilian.
- Experience of working in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrable proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
- Experience of aircraft or fighter control within the MOD environment would be desirable.
- Must be able to be cleared to UK SC level.
- A competitive salary of £26,000 pro rata (£19,000).
- 23 days' holiday (rising to 27) with the opportunity to buy extra leave.
