About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SIM Operator to join our team at Capita. As a SIM Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Royal Navy's training program by operating complex simulator games and ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the simulator equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a pseudo pilot, operating simulator games as per the Royal Navy training curriculum.
  • Support the maintenance and upkeep of the simulator equipment and aids.
  • Ensure all training equipment is correctly prepared for use and for storage post-use.
  • Collect and disseminate data from each simulator.
Requirements
  • Experience within the Maritime Aviation Sector, Military or Civilian.
  • Experience of working in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
  • Experience of aircraft or fighter control within the MOD environment would be desirable.
  • Must be able to be cleared to UK SC level.
