The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our Children and Young Persons Bereavement Service, Seahorse. As a Counsellor, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and guidance to children and young people who have experienced loss and bereavement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one counselling sessions to children and young people aged 6-18 years old
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our bereavement service
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
